E-Z Elastic rings Ø2 to Ø16 mm (for all bird species)

New concept of elastic rings that can be put on the leg in a simple way using the specially developed E-Z Ring Gun. The high elasticity allows the ring to adapt to the paw during growth. This greatly reduces re-ringing to prevent ingrowth. The small ring height offers the possibility to place different colors on top of each other and thus greatly expand the marking possibilities.

Tips for using E-Z Elastic Rings

What size to start with for chicks?
When choosing the E-Z Elastic rings it is best to start with the diameter 4.5 mm for the young chicks.

Does the E-Z Elastic ring grow with you or do you need to re-ring?
The E-Z Elastic rings will have limited growth which means that the risk of ingrowth remains. So you still need to monitor carefully during growth and switch to a larger diameter in time if the ring begins to clamp around the leg during the growth period.

What to do if the E-Z Elastic ring breaks when you push it over the thicker part of the ring gun?
In certain circumstances, it is recommended to put the rings in lukewarm water for a while before pushing them over the ring gun. This is especially recommended for the smallest diameter of 2 mm where stretchability is limited due to the small size.
